PASSIONATE ARGUMENTS OR EMOTIONAL BLACKMAILING

We, as a nation, are very sensitive and emotional that often led to falling prey to externalities ( culture, political, financial interest, and threats). Though, every nation in the world exercises its culture, historical events, and political diplomacies independently. Even wars taking place following self-interest and national sovereignty. Similarly, internal and external policies are inked with a mutual understanding of the stakeholders of the country.

They feel sufficient in their cultural values, national interest, and political identity. Last but not least, they are confident in all hardships confronting, believe in abilities and skills they possess, and never bow before others. They truly believe in freedom of speech and action undertaking with the rest part of the world. BUT still, simple questions pop-ups in mind. Are we truly free above the horrors, threats, and interests? It was 9/11/2001 when the US government launched a campaign against Al-Qaeda and associated militants in Afghanistan. Pakistan was one of the countries in South Asia agreeing on the call and galvanized the support for the war against extremism and terrorism. The whole nation, willingly or unwillingly, plunged into the war to eliminate the menace of terrorism in the country.

For the last couple of months, our electronic and print media eulogizing a Turkey drama serial Artugrul day and night. I am not talking about its legit and illegality, but the point of an immediate shift of public approach from local productions to the imported is reflecting the lack of confidence in our culture and history. More ironically, the national anthem and music were replaced with Artugrul on 23rd March in the national parade ground, Islamabad.

This is not what we but the world's renowned figure and one of our all-seasonal friends China's Foreign Minister has expressed in a foreign country. He said, "Iran decides independently on its relations with other countries and is not like some countries that change their position with one phone call". Yes, the words are harsh, but it's a true representation of our collective approach of emotionalism, sensitivity, and reasoning-behavior in all respect of political career.

"WE DON'T CARE OF A BIRD IN HAND, BUT CARE OF THE ONE ON BUSHES"
