Though it is a common food item in Pakistan and is also running food in Gilgit-Baltistan, it came from then Sub-continent India along with the immense transformation of culture and foods into Pakistan. It is baked with pastry with a savory filling, such as spiced potatoes, onions, tomato and green onions, and also meat and other lentils. They are in different shapes, triangular and square, and take 20 minutes for baking.
