FREELANCING, A GOOD SOURCE OF INCOME DURING LOCK-DOWN.

WHO IS FREELANCER?

A freelancer is a self-employed person who offers services, often working on several jobs for multiple clients at one time. While a freelancer is not officially employed by another company, they can be subcontracted by other businesses. It’s common for freelancers to work on several different jobs or projects at once, but some freelance contracts may restrict who else the freelancer can work for until they complete the project.

Some of the most common freelance jobs are within creative industries such as graphic design, copy writing, website development, or photography; however, freelancers can work in almost any service-based industry, such as translation, consulting, or catering.

HOW TO START?

If you have a laptop, computer, or mobile along with a stable internet line is undoubtedly enough to start as a freelancer at home. First and foremost, underline the fundamental skills that you have a command and confidence to meet the customer need, like writing, programming, data entry, speaking, blogging, sales, marketing, and generally motivating, etc.

Second, create a simple blog, Facebook page, or a website to display the skills and services that you want to serve and earn money. Besides, search the trending issues or topics that frequently written or spoken and analyze them by making attractive and informative and post. After a few hours, you will feel a considerable response by clicking or reacting to the idea that gives the insight to work more professionally.

Last but not least, maintain the originality of writing along with giving ad your skills for expected users or clients and will catch sooner or later a kind of projects against a reasonable payment.

HOW MUCH YOU CAN EARN?

It depends upon the nature of work and your level of skill that you bargain with the client. But usually, minimally $200-$1000 within an hour can be earned in a single project as soon as increasing the pace of work and proficiency will directly impact on making money, another hand.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

I had not involved in such kind of activity and was taking a source of time wastage. With the advent of Corona-virus, lock-down remained the pushing force for quarantine of the people. Then I realized the options for being quarantine, and the only thing that popped up in mind was online business or freelancing. Firstly, I was convinced about making our fundamental skills public and offered a certain amount of money against the services that we want to provide for customers. Gradually, I developed a simple blog and filled with variety and trending articles that later remained the main reason for viewers' traffic. For the first time, I got a small order from a Chinese company that to write down a content article and displayed on the website. That was the moment more igniting and attractive, and I received my first payment, though it was little but was enough for courage and future motivation.
